Three years. Woke up early Dad with you in my thoughts having flicked the Egypt photos yesterday. I wish I could remember more of your stories, but I remember enough. Hope you are looking down on us all and quietly proud as I know you always were. Think of you every day. Mum wanted to be with her thoughts today and found some Pavarotti to watch and think of you. The rest of us cracked on as usual and the sun came out making it a fine day for cricket and golf and also football. Josh is working on getting a placement and Luke was playing footy. They are doing you proud. They are good people and happy and healthy. I know they were both thinking of you and Luke’s got a photo of Ieuan, John and yourself on his phone screen. The garden is a mess after the builders and I’ve been seeding grass which always makes me thinks of you. Retirement probably not too far away and I must get back to playing so I’ll be in shape when we meet on the tee somewhere away from here. Love you, always Dave X
